The Corporate FP&A Team in Veghel is responsible for management reporting for Mars Inc. around the globe. The jobholder is part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) which plays a key role in the period close submissions and is involved in projects to improve management reporting.

What are you going to do?

  • Together with your Centre of Excellence (CoE) teammates, ensure all applicable activities needed for continuity of period close are accurately and timely executed
  • Support regional functional experts (RFEs) with periodical submission questions and oversee / report submission status to Mars Inc. management teams
  • (Co-) lead or participate in change management projects. The responsibility in these change projects (lead or participate) depends on the nature and complexity/size of these projects
  • Pro-actively contribute to bring good governance around change processes in place (ambassador, communication, transparency, identify & initiate actions to improve / implement in case of missing governance)
  • Support implementation of accounting changes and the required communication and documentation to support this

What we would like to see in you.

  • Good understanding of financial statements & affinity with financial systems 
  • SAP, Power BI and Excel are preferred but no pre-requisites
  • Able to switch gears quickly when required with a strong focus on priority setting
  • Pro-actively able to engage in problem solving including stakeholder management
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
  • Higher Vocational degree in Finance / Business Economics
  • 2+ years working experience in Finance
